The engineer will be involved with projects of automotive sector.

The engineer will work in the R&D department, focused in the Test and Validation area, will be involved with tests for plastic parts
validation and thermoplastic materials characterization. He will play a role as a test and materials engineer, working under direction
of the area manager:
-Generation of the test validation plan for plastic parts. To ensure that the product fulfils internal and customer (OEM automotive)
requirements.
-Organize test facilities and maintain test equipment to perform the tests.
-Manage the acquisition of new equipment and tools for new test procedures.
-Manage external suppliers for specific tests.
-Generation of tests plan to perform a materials characterization.
-Manage the plastic materials characterization test. With internal test equipment or external suppiers.
-Analyze test results to ensure the product reliability and quality.
-Test reports elaboration.
-Guarantee that all tests and activities are carried out according to internal, customer or international standards and procedures.
The engineer also will cooperate with Engineering Department to develop new plastic parts / products, providing technical
expertise.
The CAD engineer needs medium / strong skills in: plastic materials (thermoplastic and elastomers), test engineering to perform
different kinds of tests (mechanical, vibration, thermal, fluid-dynamics,...), customer oriented attitude, ability to work in a team and
ability to work orderly.
Global and multicultural customers and suppliers. So, an independent user level of English language knowledge is necessary.
Travel are not necessary for this position, but availability is required.
