Sir Joan is moving to town and he is on the lookout for an Accounting Manager Profile The Accounting Manager will play a crucial role in the (pre-) opening process. As part of the management team and in close cooperation with the Head Office in Amsterdam, you will be responsible for setting up the accounting department of this beautiful island. You will report directly to the Finance Director EHPC. Your role will consist of the following responsibilities: Pre-opening & set-up (finance) policies and processes in compliance with EHPC standards and local tax and reporting regulations; Responsible for the bookkeeping including maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable & receivable and payroll as well as for purchase and store, including cost control; Monitoring performance of the hotel and restaurants compared to budget and monthly reporting of the hotel and restaurants and pro-actively communicate major deviations; Ensure professional and efficient utilization of all systems, in line with company best practices and standard operating procedures; Oversee the management of all leases, contracts and other financial commitments; Manage the operational insurances under supervision of the Finance Director. We are looking for an innovative and flexible Accounting Manager with strong knowledge on HR tendencies and passion for hospitality.
