In this challenging position, you will be responsible for the supervision of production activities within one or more international shipyards of the company. You will be responsible for your area of expertise. This can be steel, piping, painting, electrical, outfitting or painting. Your main duty is to check and monitor the quality of work, taking into account the facilities of the shipyard, the processes and working methods and the tools being used. This way, you will be responsible for finding and implementing possible improvements in the production process. You will work in close cooperation with the Site Manager and you will report to him/her and to the Supervisor Manager. This position implies travelling abroad. Your daily tasks include: Supervising and checking production processes in international shipyards. Communicating to international field workers and production supervisors. Checking quality and making sure that standards comply with classification societies. Give advice on improvements for the production process. Supervising work regarding HSEQ rules. Report to Site Manager and Supervisor Manager. Who we are looking for: To be successful in this role we require the following requirements: BSc in Naval, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. At least 5 years of working experience supervising one of the disciplines with the shipbuilding process. Strong international cultural awareness. Good command of the English language.
