We are currently looking for a Hardware Engineer to work in a R&D center for an automotive multinational company. Reporting to the Hardware Manager, the role of Hardware Engineer will have broad responsibilities which cover following: • Working on projects through V cycle: from the concept and requirements up to the validation tests. • Define and justify the Hardware architecture of mechatronic systems: worst case analysis, thermal management of components, EM C and environmental constraints. • Write and review engineering documentation, test plans and reports • Design and optimize Hardware schematic drawings and bill of materials • Design & Implement hardware verification test plans and reports • Participate in project and team meetings • Ensure time reporting of activities • Support validation team through product development of each phase (Design Validation, Process Validation, …). • Ensure interaction with Software, Mechanics, Quality (FM EA), Manufacturing, Purchasing departments. • Ensure all engineering activities comply to the company’s Quality Management System and standard (ISO26262, …) ENVIRONMENT : • V cycle environment: specification, justification, traceability under Reqtify • Schematic drawing and Layout under Cadstar and Design Gateway (Zuken) • DC/ BLDC motors, inductive and resistive loads control with or without PWM managment • Components and technologies: microcontroller, DSP, FPGAs, MOSFETs, IGBT's, Power Inductors, DC/DC converter (Boost,…) • Communication Bus (CAN, LIN, FlexRay,…) • Simulation tools and modeling: PADS, PSPICE, LTSPICE, PSIM , M atlab-Simulink, etc...
