The EC&I Maintenance Team Leader will have responsibility for the planning, control and supervision of the electrical, control and instrumentation maintenance of the generating Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) plant while maintaining the highest safety standards, practices and leadership. Duties will include, but are not to be limited to, the following: - Carry out authorised roles under the safety rules; - Direct and supervise the EC&I function, assess training needs and manage individual performance plans; - Comply with corporate and statutory safety and environmental obligations; - Development and implement appropriate maintenance procedures and guidelines; - Development and management of applicable maintenance contracts including the management of contractors; - Be a leading participant in the planning, organising and implementation of annual overhauls; - Scheduling, planning and optimising all EC&I maintenance activities in a safe and efficient manner; - Train and develop staff; - Carry out the role in management of safety, environment and quality as identified in the relevant ISO systems and processes; - Liaise with other departments as required or directed; - Project management as required; - General driving duties as required.
