The Mechanical Maintenance Team leader will be responsible for the planning, control and supervision of mechanical maintenance of the Combined Cycle Gas Turbine CCGT generating plant while maintaining the highest safety standards, practices and leadership. Duties will include, but are not be limited to, the following: - Scheduling, planning and optimising all mechanical maintenance activities in a safe and efficient manner; - Be a leading participant in the planning, organising and implementation of annual overhauls; - Carry out authorised roles under the safety rules; - Direct and supervise the mechanical function, assess training needs and manage individual performance plans; - Comply with corporate and statutory safety and environmental obligations; - Development and implement appropriate maintenance procedures, systems and guidelines; - Development and management of applicable maintenance contracts including the management of contractors; - Train and develop staff; - Carry out the role in management of safety, environment and quality as identified in the relevant ISO systems and processes; - Liaise with other departments as required or directed; - Project management as required; - General driving duties as required.
