We are currently looking for a Senior Program Buyer for an interesting automotive project in Czech Republic. The successful candidate will join the Program Team and will be the purchasing interface with the Program/Program Manager. Responsibilities: - Manage the requests for quotes received from the program team. - Identify prototype and tool suppliers, their assessment and selection. - Negotiate and manage Purchase Orders for prototype and production tools. - Define or collect the purchasing specifications for the program based on functional requirements or specifications. - Validate proposed purchasing solutions (supplier and price/quality/timing conditions). - Ensure that program purchasing performance (objective cost, quality, timing) are met. - Ensures that supplier product qualifications are part of the overall program planning (e.g. initial samples qualifications). - Leads the APQP process until Initial Samples approval (PPAP).
