ACTIVITIES: DMAIC Project planning: * Align with CIP POSITIVE and Business Unit Priorities with BU Quality Responsible and Ops Director. * Develop Project charter. Ensure Management Champion approval of Project objectives and resources. * Maintain Business Unit DMAIC Pipeline: Work closely with the BU Quality Responsible and Ops Director to define the strategic projects and define priorities. Manage DMAIC projects: * Influence change. * Provide leadership in applying quantitative methods. * Facilitate teamwork. * Consult with management. * Discover new leveraging opportunities. * Escalate risks and issues. * Validate Project benefits with Financial controlling (Moneybelts). Reporting: * Report monthly process improvement status to Sponsor and organization (BU Quality Responsible and BU Ops Director). * Participate in periodic Master BlackBelt reviews. * Present status to Management. Methodology training and mentoring: * Support the development of train-the-trainer principle globally for DMAIC methodologies. * Transfer knowledge and skills to others e.g. to Greenbelts and functions on DMAIC projects. * Encourage and enable the replication of previously closed projects in other plants, regions and processes. Data Analysis: * Be able to work with large amounts of data. Need to see through the data and analyze it to find conclusions. * Present the results into a comprehensible way which leads to actions. * Communicate on complex ideas. * Be vigilant in its analysis and the way the data are collected to lead to confident conclusions. * Stat.
