Principal Accountabilities: • You are responsible for polyol formulation s and modifications for discontinuous applications with the objective to satisfy customer expectations and to differentiate our product portfolio for discontinuous application ( pipe insulation, discontinuous panels, high density foam, appliances,….). • You elaborate and implement (new) laboratory techniques to improve the evaluations on performance of polyol formulations. •You supervise and steer the lab work ( formulation modifications) done by the technical support team or lab assistants and you advise them about solutions for issues they encounter. •You visit (from time to time) customers producing insulating products to set up trials with new / existing products, solve production issues with existing products, build customer relationships and extract information on future customer needs and differentiation opportunities at that customer. •You’ll gather market intelligence and identify technical trends in order to contribute, together with your colleagues, to the further optimization of the technical strategy. •You maintain/enhance the reputation of Huntsman in the market by projecting an image of professionalism and expertise. •You carry out all tasks in accordance with the Huntsman’s EHS and compliance regulations to ensure yours and your colleagues safety.
