The main purpose of this role is to provide strategic cross functional program management to one or more EU cross-functional Development (EDT) and Commercial Teams (ELCT / EBT) for one or more of our products. The role drives the development and manages the execution of high quality, integrated cross-functional EU Product Plans and where applicable Medical plans. Additionally the role will support implementation and evolution of Amgen's Operating Model and New Commercialization Framework and project management best practices. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: * Partnering with EU Medical & Commercials Leads to provide cross functional program management to teams for annual cross functional planning according to the Strategic Planning Framework (SPF) process * Accountable for driving the European Key Evidence Generation (EKEG) study approval process and for ensuring alignment between local-region-global through close partnership with the Evidence Generation Team (via the Global Senior Project Manager) & global program manager * Partner with EU Medical & Brand Leaders to drive and manage development of key EU cross functional product deliverables (e.g. EU Product plans, budget planning and monitoring, goals development & tracking cross functional launch readiness review presentations) * Ensuring regional strategic alignment with global and country teams (e.g. the Product & Work Package Teams, the European R&D Leadership Forum and the European Management Committee etc) and communication of regional and global program information to appropriate stakeholders * Driving input into annual LRP and cross functional budget planning with EU Medical & Commercials Leads including building strategic budget scenarios to identify budget/resource gaps * Implement Amgen's Decision making framework and driving cross functional decision making within the EU cross functional Team * Support implementation and evolution of the New Operating Model and New Commercialization Framework * Leading cross functional risk identification and mitigation planning * Contribute to team effectiveness; facilitate strategic focus of chartering in partnership with team leads and HR (as applicable) & resolution of team dynamic issues. Onboarding new team members on commercialization framework and planning processes * Identifying, escalating and facilitating resolution of budget/resource gaps * Post-launch CRDC & senior management dashboards and KPI trackers * Leading or participating in Commercialization and "Amgen's Full Potential" work streams
