Plastic Omnium Technical center in Lozorno is the main engineering center in Central Europe for the Division Auto Exterior. We are developping brand new products, for our premium customers. As part of the technical center, you will be working among international teams of engineers specialized in manufacturing processes, in design, in technical purchasing... As part of the project core team, your main mission is to support the program manager by providing detailed information on the design and validation requirements for your dedicated product (bumper, spoiler, tailgate...). Therefore, your main tasks will be : - Provide criteria for the proper design to meet the requirements of the manufacturing process. - Ensure the design meets the requirements of the manufacturing process. - Make recommendations that will improve the product or process. - Ensure the product meets the cost and through-put requirements quoted. - Communicate changes in the design to affected team members. - Provide numerical data for suppliers to manufacture tooling, fixtures and assembly aides. - Oversee mold concept, design, manufacture and acceptance. - Oversee manufacture, assembly and validation of prototype parts. - Insure the coordination of specialists and experts of the extended team (validation engineer, material engineer, geometry engineer, design leader...).
